In the historic center of the walled city, a few meters from the Basilica of Santa Maria Assunta, built into an old building commissioned by the La Torre family, later acquired in the second half of the 19th century by the textile manufacturer Arturo Stucchi, who commissioned restoration work. to the architect Federico Frigerio, whose hand restored the palace to its former glory with the decorations of the large courtyard, adorned with a back wall with fountains and niches containing statues of the four seasons by Pietro Clerici. In 2010, the building was renovated by the architect Giovanni Sammartano, preserving the charm of that time.
